Ottertail is a growing community located on the Northeast side of Otter Tail Lake and the center of Lakes Country in Otter Tail County.  Here you have all that you need to live a great life.  Two major highways intersect, MN Hwy 78 and MN Hwy 108.  Ottertail may be spread out in our 5 square acres, but here you can enjoy the lakes Otter Tail, Portage, Donald, Long Lake, Buchanan and Pelican Bay for fishing, swimming, boating and other fun water sports.  Gift shops, cafe's, gardening, golfing at Thumper Pond Resort and Golf course and a rich history.  Be sure to stop in and introduce yourself and if you ever need any information, don't hesitate to call us!

Smart Room Now Available

In cooperation with Otter Tail County and the Blandin Foundation, Ottertail now has available for residents and visitors a smart room with wi-fi capabilities for your job search, Zoom or Teams meetings and remote office work.  Call City Hall to schedule a time during office hours.

Our drop box on the south side of the building to pay utility bills remains open.  You can contact city hall regarding permits, utility bills or any other subject regarding city services, by calling 367-2250.
