New Water Utility Rates for 2026

Beginning January 1, 2026, the City of Ottertail will implement a 3% increase in water rates compared to 2025 rates. This increase only effects water usage rates and does not affect base charges, curb stop fees, or late fees.

In addition, the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) has increased the Safe Drinking Water Service Connection Fee. Effective the same date, this fee will be $15.22 per water service connection, per year. It will appear on monthly utility bills as $1.27 per month, reflecting an increase of $0.46 per month. Please understand that this fee is passed on to the MN Department of Health.
